Tour Highlights
Value of the package
This 8-day southern Vietnam beach and island tour pairs two very different coasts: the sand dunes and fishing boats of Mui Ne and the islands and parks of Phu Quoc, with a first night in Ho Chi Minh City. The pace is relaxed, with a free day and free afternoons, and transfers, guides and resorts are arranged for you.
- Three nights in each beach resort. After one night in Ho Chi Minh City, you stay three nights in Mui Ne and three nights on Phu Quoc, so you are not changing hotels every day.
- The dunes at first light. The open-top jeep leaves at about 4:30 AM for sunrise at the White Sand Dunes, then the Red Sand Dunes, the fishing village and the Fairy Stream, and you are back for breakfast by about 8:30 AM.
- Real time to rest. Day 4 has no plans at all, and the afternoons of days 2 and 3 are free for the beach, the pool or a spa treatment.
- A full island day. The cable car from An Thoi crosses to Hon Thom for beaches and Aquatopia water park, and brings you back to Sunset Town and the Kissing Bridge for sunset.
- Wildlife, rides and a canal town in one day. Vinpearl Safari, VinWonders and Grand World all lie in the north of the island, a short drive from your resort.
- Guided where it matters. Your English-speaking guide accompanies you on sightseeing days and on the airport transfers.
Included in the package
- Airport pick-up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) and drop-off at Phu Quoc International Airport with your guide
- 7 nights’ accommodation – Rex Hotel Saigon or similar in Ho Chi Minh City (1 night), Anantara Mui Ne Resort or similar (3 nights) and Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc or similar (3 nights)
- 7 breakfasts and 4 lunches, as listed day by day

Itinerary
Overnight: Rex Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City | Meals: Lunch and dinner on your own | Guide: Guide pickup

On arrival
Welcome to Vietnam. Your HYNA guide and driver wait for you in the arrival hall at Tan Son Nhat International Airport with a name sign, then take you through the humming streets to your hotel in the city centre.
Evening
The rest of the day is yours. Rest after the flight, or step out as the heat eases: the riverside, the small coffee shops and Nguyen Hue Walking Street are all close by, and in the evening they fill with families, street musicians and the scent of grilled snacks.
Overnight: Anantara Mui Ne Resort, Mui Ne | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch · Dinner on your own | Guide: Half day guide

Morning
After breakfast and check-out, your guide and driver meet you in the hotel lobby around 8:30 AM. The drive to Mui Ne takes about 3.5–4 hours on the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet expressway, with a short rest stop on the way. Little by little the city falls behind, replaced by rows of rubber trees and dragon fruit farms, their cactus-like plants hung with bright pink fruit, until the first glimpse of the sea appears.
Midday
Lunch around midday is seafood at a local restaurant in Mui Ne – a fitting welcome to a town that has lived from the sea for generations.
Afternoon
Your guide then takes you to your resort. Let the afternoon unwind on the beach or by the pool, with the sound of the waves close by, and stay out to watch the sun go down over the bay.
Overnight: Anantara Mui Ne Resort, Mui Ne | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch · Dinner on your own | Guide: Half day guide

Early morning
Your open-top jeep collects you from the resort around 4:30 AM, while the sky is still dark and the air is cool, for a half-day tour of Mui Ne’s dunes and coast. You reach the White Sand Dunes in time for sunrise, when the first light turns the ridges gold and pink above the lake at their foot. Climb the soft slopes for the view, or race across the sand by quad bike at your own expense.
Morning
On the way back along the coast road, stop at the Red Sand Dunes, glowing a deep rust colour in the morning sun.
From the hill above Mui Ne Fishing Village you look down on a bay full of round basket boats bringing in the night’s catch, while buyers crowd the shore.
Then walk barefoot up the Fairy Stream, its shallow water running between red and white sandstone cliffs. You are back at the resort by about 8:30 AM for breakfast and a swim.
Midday
Your guide meets you again for lunch around midday at a local restaurant in Mui Ne, and you are back at your resort by about 1:15 PM with the afternoon free to relax.
Overnight: Anantara Mui Ne Resort, Mui Ne | Meals: Breakfast · Lunch and dinner on your own | Guide: No guide

Morning
A day with no plans at all. Take your time over breakfast at the resort and let the rhythm of the sea set the pace.
Afternoon
Swim in the sea or the pool, book a spa treatment, or walk the long beach where, on windy days, the sky fills with the colourful sails of kitesurfers. As the light softens in the late afternoon, the seafront restaurants of Mui Ne are the place to watch the sunset over a plate of fresh seafood.
Overnight: Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, Phu Quoc | Meals: Breakfast · Lunch and dinner on your own | Guide: Guide for airport transfers

Morning
After breakfast, say goodbye to the dunes and check out. Your guide and driver take you back along the expressway to Ho Chi Minh City, about 3.5–4 hours, and see you off at Tan Son Nhat Airport for your domestic flight to Phu Quoc. The departure time depends on your flight.
On arrival
In Phu Quoc, your HYNA guide and driver welcome you at the international airport and take you to your resort on the island’s northwest coast. The rest of the day is free to settle in and listen to the sea.
Overnight: Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, Phu Quoc | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch · Dinner on your own | Guide: Full day guide

Morning
Your guide and driver meet you at your resort around 8:00 AM for the drive south to An Thoi, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Here you board one of the world’s longest sea-crossing cable cars and glide high above turquoise water, colourful fishing boats and the small green islands of the An Thoi archipelago, before landing on Hon Thom Island.
Midday
Spend the day on the island at your own pace – lazing on the beaches, splashing through the Aquatopia water park or trying the other rides of the nature park. A buffet lunch on Hon Thom Island around midday keeps you going.
Afternoon
In the late afternoon, the cable car carries you back to Sunset Town, a Mediterranean-style town of pastel houses beside the cable car station.
Walk out on the Kissing Bridge, whose two halves almost touch above the sea, and stay as the sun sinks into the Gulf of Thailand.
Evening
After sunset, you drive back to your resort, arriving around 7:30 PM.
Overnight: Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, Phu Quoc | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch · Dinner on your own | Guide: Full day guide

Morning
Your guide and driver meet you at your resort around 8:30 AM; all three parks lie in the north of the island, only a short drive away. You begin at Vinpearl Safari, Vietnam’s largest wildlife conservation park, while the animals are most active. Walk through the open zoo, then ride the safari bus as giraffes, zebras and rhinos roam in open habitats right beside you.
Midday
Lunch around midday is at a restaurant near the parks.
Afternoon
The afternoon belongs to VinWonders, one of Vietnam’s largest theme parks, with themed zones, rides, water attractions and a large aquarium where you can come face to face with the life of the sea.
Evening
As evening falls, move on to Grand World, a colourful canal town of European-style streets, cafés and the Bamboo Legend building. Stroll along the Venice-inspired canals while the lights flicker on and reflect in the water, then take the short transfer back to your resort around 7:30 PM.
Overnight: — | Meals: Breakfast · Lunch and dinner on your own | Guide: Guide dropoff

Travel insurance during the tour is included, as listed under "Included in the package". Children can be covered from 6 weeks of age.
