This 7-day Phu Quoc family tour is built around what children enjoy most: animals, theme parks, beaches and water slides. From one resort on Bai Dai beach you visit Vinpearl Safari, Grand World, VinWonders, Rach Vem Starfish Beach, the southern islands by speedboat and Hon Thom by cable car, with a private car, driver and English-speaking guide on sightseeing days.
- One resort for the whole week. Six nights on Bai Dai beach mean no repacking, and the safari, VinWonders and Grand World are all a short drive away.
- Days paced for families. Most days finish between about 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM, so the late afternoons are free.
- Wildlife up close. At Vinpearl Safari the family rides through the open safari area to see giraffes, zebras and rhinos, then walks through the open zoo.
- A whole day at VinWonders. Gentle carousels for younger children, roller coasters for teenagers, the aquarium and the water park area, with lunch inside the park.
- Nature as well as rides. An easy forest walk in Phu Quoc National Park leads on to Rach Vem, where children can spot red starfish in the shallow, clear water.
- Sea days. A speedboat takes you snorkelling at Gam Ghi and swimming at May Rut and Mong Tay, and the Hon Thom cable car leads to the slides and pools of Aquatopia Water Park.

DAY 1: PHU QUOC ARRIVAL – CHECK-IN & RELAX

On arrival
Welcome to Vietnam. Your HYNA guide and driver wait for you in the arrival hall of Phu Quoc International Airport with a name sign and take the family by private car on the drive of about 30 minutes north to your resort on Bai Dai beach.
Afternoon
Check in and let the island set the pace: a splash in the pool, sandcastles on the beach and, as the day ends, the sun sliding into the sea to ease everyone into island time.
DAY 2: VINPEARL SAFARI & GRAND WORLD

Morning
Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel around 8:30 AM for the short drive to Vinpearl Safari, Vietnam’s largest wildlife conservation park. Ride through the open safari area, where giraffes stretch for leaves, zebras graze and rhinos move through spaces built to resemble their natural habitats, while the children press their noses to the window. Then walk through the open zoo, where young explorers can see the animals up close.
Midday
Lunch around midday at a restaurant near the park, followed by a short rest.
Afternoon
Stroll through Grand World, a canal-side town of pastel European-style facades often called the Venice of Phu Quoc.
Cross the arched bridges, admire the woven curves of the Bamboo Legend building and line up family photos along the canals. You are back at your hotel by about 5:00 PM. Grand World is only a few minutes from your resort, so it is easy to return on your own when the lights come on in the evening.
DAY 3: VINWONDERS THEME PARK

Morning
Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel around 9:00 AM for the few minutes’ drive to VinWonders Phu Quoc, one of Vietnam’s largest theme parks. Each themed zone brings a new world to explore, with rides for every age, from gentle carousels for younger children to roller coasters that make teenagers shriek. When the sun gets strong, cool off at the aquarium or the water park area.

Lunch around midday at a restaurant inside the park.
Afternoon
The afternoon is free to go back to the family’s favourite rides and catch the shows in the park. Let the children choose the order, queue for one more turn on the ride they loved, and soak up the music and colour around you. You are back at your hotel by about 5:00 PM.
DAY 4: PHU QUOC NATIONAL PARK & RACH VEM STARFISH BEACH

Morning
Your guide meets you around 8:00 AM, and the road soon enters Phu Quoc National Park, which covers most of the north of the island. Take an easy walk of about an hour along a forest trail under tall trees, where the air is cool, cicadas hum and sunlight falls in patches on the path – a green side of the island that few visitors see, with plenty of time for the children to stop and look.
Midday
The forest road leads on to Rach Vem, a fishing village on the north-east coast, where lunch around noon is a seafood meal at a restaurant by the sea.
Afternoon
After lunch, walk the wooden piers of the village, past floating houses, and help the children spot the red starfish resting in the shallow, clear water of Starfish Beach. There is time to swim and play on the sand before the drive back, and you are at your hotel by about 4:00 PM.
DAY 5: ISLAND HOPPING BY SPEEDBOAT

Morning
After an early breakfast, your guide meets you around 7:30 AM for the drive south to An Thoi harbour, where a speedboat whisks the family out into the An Thoi archipelago. First stop is Gam Ghi, one of the best snorkelling spots in the south, where you can all float over coral and watch tropical fish dart below.
Next comes May Rut, with soft white sand and calm, clear water that is ideal for a swim and building sandcastles.
Midday
Lunch around midday is a seafood meal on the island.
Afternoon
Relax on the beach of Mong Tay and walk together along its wooden bridge over the sea, the water shifting from jade to deep blue beneath your feet. The speedboat then carries you back to An Thoi, and you are back at your hotel by about 4:30 PM.
DAY 6: HON THOM CABLE CAR & AQUATOPIA WATER PARK

Morning
Your guide meets you around 8:00 AM for the drive of about an hour south to An Thoi. Step into the cabin of the long sea-crossing cable car to Hon Thom and glide high above turquoise water, with the brightly painted fishing boats of An Thoi and the small islands of the archipelago below.
Then the fun begins at Aquatopia Water Park, with thrill slides, adventure games, wave pools and gentle play areas for younger children.
Midday
Lunch around midday at a restaurant in the park.
Afternoon
Take a last round of slides and pools before, late in the afternoon, the cable car carries you back to An Thoi, the islands glowing in the softer light. After the drive north you are back at your hotel by about 5:30 PM.
DAY 7: PHU QUOC DEPARTURE

Take your time over breakfast and enjoy some free time, maybe one last swim with the children, depending on your flight schedule.

7. Is airport pick-up included?
Yes. Your guide and driver meet you at the airport on the first day and take you to the airport for your departure on the last day, as shown in the itinerary.
8. What documents do I need to travel to Vietnam?
You need a passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date and a Vietnam visa or visa exemption, depending on your nationality. The Vietnam visa fee is not included in the tour price.
