From your base on Bai Dai beach you visit Grand World, VinWonders and Vinpearl Safari, the fishing villages of the east coast, Hon Thom by cable car and four islands in all, with a private car, driver and English-speaking guide on sightseeing days.

  • Six nights in one place. You stay at a resort on Bai Dai beach for the whole week, and most drives are between a few minutes and about an hour.
  • Evenings and easy mornings. Day 2 starts slowly by the pool and ends at Grand World, with the canals, the Bamboo Legend building and the Colors of Venice show at around 9:30 PM.
  • A full day of wildlife and rides. Ride through the open safari area of Vinpearl Safari, walk the open zoo, then spend the afternoon at VinWonders Phu Quoc.
  • The quieter side of the island. The road crosses Phu Quoc National Park to the wooden piers of Rach Vem, the long pier of Ham Ninh and the forest trail to Suoi Tranh stream.
  • Four islands. Cross to Hon Thom by sea-crossing cable car, then take a speedboat to Gam Ghi for snorkelling, May Rut for swimming and Mong Tay with its wooden bridge over the sea.

Afternoon
Your guide meets you around 4:00 PM for the short drive to Grand World, only a few minutes from your resort. Often called the Venice of Phu Quoc, it is a canal-side town of pastel European-style facades and arched bridges mirrored in the water.

Wander the canals, admire the woven curves of the Bamboo Legend building and take photos as the lights flicker on. Dinner is at your own arrangement at one of the many restaurants in Grand World.

Evening
Around 9:30 PM the Colors of Venice show begins on the canal, a love story told through music, light, water effects and dancers, the reflections shimmering across the water. You are back at your hotel by about 10:15 PM.

Morning
Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel around 8:30 AM for the drive to Vinpearl Safari in the north of the island, Vietnam’s largest wildlife conservation park. Ride through the open safari area, where giraffes stretch for leaves, zebras graze and rhinos move through spaces built to resemble their natural habitats. Then continue on foot through the open zoo, close enough to hear the calls of the animals around you.

Midday
Lunch around midday at a restaurant near the park.

Afternoon
Spend the afternoon at VinWonders Phu Quoc, one of Vietnam’s largest theme parks, where themed zones, rides, an aquarium and water attractions keep every age busy. Morning
Your guide meets you around 8:00 AM, and the road leads through the green forest of Phu Quoc National Park to the north-east coast.

At Rach Vem, walk the wooden piers of a quiet fishing village, past floating houses rocking gently on the tide, and look down into the shallow, clear water where red starfish rest on the sand.

Continue down the east coast to Ham Ninh, where a long pier reaches out to sea and local families still make their living from fishing and pearl farming.

Midday
Lunch around midday is a seafood meal at a local restaurant by Ham Ninh pier, with fishing boats bobbing nearby.

Afternoon
Follow a short forest trail to Suoi Tranh, a stream that tumbles over rocks in the shade of the trees and runs fullest in the rainy season. The air is cool and the sound of water fills the forest. You are back at your hotel by about 4:30 PM.

Midday
Lunch around midday at a restaurant on Hon Thom.

Afternoon
The rest of your time on the island is easy and unplanned: swim and lie on the white-sand beach, try the slides and pools of the Aquatopia water park, or wander the gardens and viewpoints at your own pace. In the middle of the afternoon, the cable car carries you back across the sea to An Thoi for the drive north, and you are back at your hotel by about 5:00 PM.
