6-DAY NORTHERN HERITAGE OF HANOI

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel for check-in  (depending on your landing time)

18:00: Let’s explore Vietnamese cuisine in the historic Old Quarter with a local guide. Immerse yourself in the bustling lifestyle, enjoy street food, and learn about Vietnamese culture 

Start the tour with a bowl of traditional PHO, known for its savory broth and tender noodles.

Enjoy a classic banh mi sandwich filled with pate, grilled meats, and sausage in a crispy baguette.

Taste grilled fatty pork with rice noodles, fresh herbs, pickled carrots, and green papaya, with a flavorful dipping sauce.

For dessert, enjoy xôi chè, a delightful mix of savory sticky rice and sweet dessert soups.

Finally, conclude your tour with a unique experience: enjoy egg coffee while watching train passing by in the train street.

Kindly note that the order of the food places can be changed according to the guide’s arrangement. The dishes may change according to the tour guide, the weather, or the places visited, but tours will usually include a total of 6 to 7 dishes to taste.

7h15-8h00 : Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is about 120 km far from Hanoi Old Quarter.

9h00-9h15 : Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.

10h15-10h30: Arrive Vietnam restaurant and start cycling 20 minutes to Hoa Lu ancient capital, then park the bicycle and walk to visit Hoa Lu. This is the first capital of Vietnam, you will be impressed by the outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17th century.

(If you prefer not to cycle, we will transfer you by bus to Hoa Lu, where our tour guide will meet you and guide you to the temples. After the visit, we will transfer you back to Cozy Vietnam Restaurant)

11h30 :  Continue cycling tour 30 minutes more around the village to discover the life of local people and come back to Vietnam restaurant.

12h00:  Have Lunch at Vietnam Restaurant designed in a 5-star style. You can have a panoramic view of the poetic mountain and river scenery of Ninh Binh while enjoying the delicious foods.

 Lunch will be served in accordance to service you choose:

– Deluxe Set Menu style: on the 2nd floor if you choose the Luxury D-car option. 

Deluxe Set Menu lunch is served in a private and cozy atmosphere. Foods are decorated impressively on the table.

– Buffet style: on the 3rd floor if you choose the Shuttle Bus/ Thaco Limousine option. 

Buffet lunch is served in a modern and elegant atmosphere with many local foods.

Note: Vegetarian foods are always available on both Deluxe Set Menu and Buffet.

13h00 – 13h30:Visit Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. There, you can spend 1.5 – 2 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which has a beautiful tunnel cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.

16h00-16:30 : Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, and have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

17h00 – 17h30 : Get on the Bus to return to Hanoi

19h00 – 19h30: Arrive in Hanoi and get dropped off at the Hotel. The trip ends !

On weekend, some roads will not allow vehicles to make room for the walking street, therefore our Luxury D-car / Thaco Limousine/ Shutter Bus will drop you off at the closest and suitable point in the Old Quarter instead.

08:15 – 08:45: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.

11:45 – 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises. 

12:45 – 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.

13:00– 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.

16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.

17:30: Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.

19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board.

06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.

07:00: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.

09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out. 

10:00: Lunch is served on board.

12:00: Disembark at the Tuan Chau marina by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi 

15:00 – 15:30: Arrival back at your hotel or home.

8h00 – 8h30: Our Tour guide and our bus pick up at your hotel and start to discover Hanoi City

08h45: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.

Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.

Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, etc.

10h15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

11:30-13:00: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegeterian foods are available.

13h00: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.

After enjoying your breakfast, our driver will pick you up and take you to the airport to begin your journey back to your home sweet home.
